What we do
Our main aim to care for and rehome unwanted and abandoned cats & kittens
We offer a rehoming service to members of the public who can no longer keep their pets.
We encourage the neutering of all cats and kittens. A neutered cat is a healthier cat.
We facilitate the neutering of feral colonies by lending traps and helping with the cost of neutering.
Assistance with the cost of neutering is available to members of the public on income based benefit / low income. Vouchers are administered centrally by National Cat Centre. To find out more about the assisted neutering scheme / apply for a voucher please telephone our neutering help line 03000 121212, the lines are open between 09:30 – 1pm Monday to Friday. Further information can be found at www.cats.org.uk/what-we-do/neutering/financial-assistance
We promote responsible cat ownership by offering information and advice on cat care issues (non veterinary).
We promote the work of the Cat Protection through educational tours of our centre.
